The Launch of Little Stones Charity Foundation

Little Stones Charity Foundation Limited was incorporated in 2017 and received tax exempted charity status under S88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance in 2020.

The mandates of Little Stones are as follows:

(a) To promote, enhance the awareness and importance of trail conservation in Hong Kong for the benefit of the Hong Kong community.

(b) Promote, encourage education and learning, supporting training on trail conservation and improvement of the countryside and natural environment in Hong Kong

(c) To provide support and training to the youth through nature education, conservation and sports

Our 2026/2027 work plan is as follows:

Education:

Reaching out to primary, secondary schools or universities

Promoting learning on trail problems and conservation issues, public responsibility and attitudes

Connect:

Organizing nature tours and activities for schools and families

Establishing connection with nature, sense of appreciation, empathy and responsibility

Providing tools for parents and teachers on using nature as classroom

Engage:

Organizing school or public tours to illustrate trail problems and possible solutions

Organizing workshops on trail repair concepts, solutions and techniques

Collaborate with AFCD on trail repair activities or trail study projects

The fundraising campaign

In 2026 April, Stone Tsang will embark on a 400 km trail run journey across through various ancient trails in China, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Along the way, he would visit and learn from trail conservation experts about trail sustainability in action. The journey will be recorded and turned into a documentary for longer-term school education purposes.
